I've been about half dozen times now and not bothered to review it on the hopes it would get more than 2 stars.It's your standard American Chinese takeout place that has me up at 3 a.m with a serious belly ache. I doubt it's anything serious like food poisoning, but the quality of the food leaves me queasy every time.I had beef lo mein tonight and it was awful. I have had better versions elsewhere. No veggies, just meat and noodles.I won't be back. It's getting the extra star because they are nice people who try.

At first I was a bit sketched out by this place.Jin's Chow Mein in the gross Crystal strip mall?In a moment of desperation and not wanting to cook or travel to Minneapolis to get something decent to eat, I broke down and ventured in to see what this place is all about.Oh my god, I am hooked. For under $5 you can get quality chow mein or chop suey that will be enough for lunch and dinner. They give you a good balance of meat and vegetables with sauces that are very flavorful and not so MSG laden.The service is super fast and while you're waiting, you can read their thank you letters from donating to the community from the 70s to today.This is the ONLY thing I'll miss about living in New Hope.

i moved into the area and i hunt out the best home made chinese food and i found it,, it is so great, they make every thing by hand ,no factory bought stuff, and they gave you enough for your money it is good?

If you want the most authentic and flavorful cuisine in the twin cities you have to go to JIN'S! I was there by myself last night and enjoyed a great meal! From the moment I enter the restaurant and the moment the time I leave I feel welcome at all time. The atmosphere is peaceful and the waitress are friendly. Generous portions and reasonable prices. The chow mein is what i die for every time I go. I definitely recommend this establishment for anyone.

My family has got some major history with this place! My dad grew up eating there and he is 58, so then we grew up eating there, and now the grand kids are eating it! We absolutely love Jin's! Best takeout, and they are FAST!!!
